Happy Birthday TheSmallSlice!

One year on and I’m still here, and what a food filled fatty-cakes year it has been. Looking back on my blog now I can sense I’ve played it pretty safe with my bakes despite a disaster or two. Aim for 2014: be adventurous.

I can’t help but make the same things over and over again. I couldn’t tell you how many Key Lime Pie‘s I’ve made this year. First things first for this year is to take on the challenge of the macaron, yes macarON.

I hope everyone had a good 2013 and will have an even better 2014.
